“Dr. Condo”?? HILARIOUS!
Author: Frank Beaton
I’m a big HOUSE MD fan, and the “It’s not Lupus!” thing has become something of a running joke around the, er, house. Friend of mine told me he saw a compilation video somebody made of all the “It’s not Lupus!” scenes from the show, edited together in rapid succession. Sounded funny. I went hunting for it.
Unfortunately, if you search YouTube for House, you’ll find videos from a hundred kids who all had the same idea to do a badly written, poorly acted House spoof for their high school health class presentations.
I hate the Internet.

Great post from a great blog:
What the fuck is that, you ask? Good question. It’s a box full of shredded money and a padlock (?), all to promote some movie called Mad Money. This morning when I woke up, I didn’t know that Mad Money even existed, and now I do, and it’s kind of the worst feeling ever. Oh, if only I could go back to this morning when this movie didn’t even exist for me. FUCK.
Jesus, I’m judgmental sometimes

Found out this screenwriter I really like has a blog where he talks about writing, analyzes scripts, etc.
So I clicked the link.
The most recent post was a “be back soon” notice from the guy, saying he’d be away from the blog for a couple weeks because he was at Burning Man.
And just like that, I was no longer interested in hearing anything he had to say.

There’s an old expression: a conservative is a liberal who’s been mugged.
I think there’s a correlative to that. I think a liberal is a conservative who’s been laid off, or whose job has just been outsourced to Mexico or India so a corporation can reduce its overhead. Or a conservative who’s just been diagnosed with a serious illness that his health insurance refuses to pay for. Or whose son or daughter has been killed in combat in some profit-driven war. Maybe a liberal is a conservative who’s tired of rooting for the bully, who’s tired of rewarding cruelty and heartlessness.
Maybe a liberal is a conservative who finally starts to think for himself.
